Method
We read the current menu prices from 248 licensed Massachusetts stores with menu data and keep every flower listing sized at 3.5 g. We drop prices the source flags as implausible (under $1.50 or over $30 per gram) and any price under $5. Out-of-stock listings, listings whose THC flags fail our check and sale-priced listings are left off the shelves and rankings, and so are 3 brands whose median eighth is far above the state's (Crispy Commission, FloraCal, Rhelm), because their prices look like a data quirk. We checked that this does not pull the index down: with those 66 listings added back, the state median is $25 against $25 without them, and the mean moves from $25.43 to $25.58. Medians are of listed menu prices, not sales. Town medians in the map need 8+ prices; the lowest and highest town need 3+ stores and 15+ prices.
